Irene joined Vedanta Capital in 2008. Prior to joining Vedanta Capital, Irene worked for five years at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP (PwC) in its Banking and Capital Markets Assurance practice. Irene began her career at PwC in New York, auditing a variety of financial products and companies, including multi-national investment banks, private equity and hedge funds, introducing and clearing broker-dealers, mortgage companies, and commodity pool operators. Irene recently completed a one year global rotation in the PwC London office, where she broadened her IFRS and regulatory experience, specifically related to investment banking and stock exchange clients.

Irene earned a Bachelor of Arts in English and a Bachelor and Master of Science in Accountancy from the University of Florida, where she was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa and Beta Alpha Psi honorary societies. At the University of Florida, she was one of two graduate students selected to work as an academic advisor for the Fisher School of Accounting. Irene is a Certified Public Accountant in New York.
