Philip joined Vedanta Capital in 2007 and has financial responsibility for all the operating funds. He has more than 15 years of experience in financial services including 5 years of active private equity accounting and operational experience. Prior to joining Vedanta Capital, Philip was a senior accounting manager at Palmeri Fund Administrators, Inc. providing outsourced finance, accounting and operational services to private equity firms.

Philip spent 7 years in the public accounting field at KPMG's New York and Los Angeles offices as well as Arthur Andersen & Co. auditing financial institutions and alternative investment funds. As a senior manager at KPMG, Philip was part of the corporate audit team of Citigroup, Inc. Philip worked 5 years as an internal auditor for First Interstate Bank of California and 2 years in accounting operations and financial reporting for Great Western Bank. Philip obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from Lehigh University in 1987 with a major in accounting and minor in East Asian studies. He is a certified public accountant in New York and Connecticut.
